Instructor development and continual education is one of the highest priorities for the RHKKA. Some think that instructors are naturally good teachers or that practice in the dojo earning a degree makes one an instructor. This is not normally true. Martial knowledge, ability and understanding must go hand in glove with the ability to effectively transmit that knowledge to others. Instructor training is one part of ensuring the legacy of Ryukyu Hon Kenpo Kobujyutsu is correctly passed on. Members are encouraged to seek continual training and improvement in skill and teaching ability. The RHKKA offers instructors mentorship, instructor/teacher training and access to a deep well of information through its senior members.
Soon we will have online and media training available…
